I offer a complimentary introductory consultation to go over the services we offer and what support the setting currently need. After this initial consultation, I follow up with the school/setting to recommend an appropriate service for their needs.
I am available on an hourly basis to give educational settings advice about creating a successful ethos, writing staff management policies , implementing effective supervisions, and more.
I offer a complete service that includes establishing training needs, creating bespoke training programmes, delivering 1:1 and group training, and offering follow up reviews and support as required. I can deliver group workshops virtually, at staff meetings and also offer 1:1 CPD training for individual staff members.
I provide compliance and policy audits to establish the current development needs. I will then make recommendations based on statutory requirements and best practice, and can offer bespoke policy and procedure documentation and subsequent training.
Having worked in the education sector my entire career, I fully appreciate the restrictions that funding and budgets can place on settings. Therefore I ensure that I am competitively priced so that both large and small, independent settings can access my services. Prices start from as low as £70 for workshops with up to 10 delegates. Please contact me to discuss your individual requirements.
Flo initially specialised as an Early Years Teacher and spent 10 years supporting children and families in the Early Education sector.
Working as a Senior Manager in Early Education Flo and her teams achieved 5 Outstanding Ofsted inspections. This was in part due to being able to provide and utilise effective education management training to support and develop large, diverse education staff teams to improve outcomes for children.
During this time it became clear that the quality of training and the attitude of education staff towards the sector, fostered during initial training, was central to successful education settings. Flo utilised her Further Education PGCE and began teaching and training in the post 16 sector at colleges and university centres in Devon and Somerset.
Flo ran the Early Years and Social Care department and lectured from Level 2 to Level 6 in Developmental Psychology, Leadership and Management, Inclusive Practice, Cultural Concepts of Childhood and Reflective Practice.
After having her own family, Flo used her experience in staff recruitment and on-boarding to support education settings in a Human Resources function, redesigning policy and training staff in effective education management and employee development.
Flo consults for education settings, local councils and community interest groups who wish to make the most of the talent within their teams and improve outcomes for children and families.
In addition, Flo also works as a trainer/assessor across a variety of education qualifications and is an expert examiner for an education qualification provider, marking and supporting with the design of the qualification examinations.
